From the Beginning

Ever since 2000, Amazing Grace Childcare has been providing children with a rich and diverse learning environment frame worked with a personal dedication to provide childcare enriched with love and warmth to each individual child.

Our Humble beginnings started at the south London Home as a home-based childcare facility and as we grew in capacity and demand we decided to expand into a purpose adapted premises in Spring 2018.

The Nursery now consists of a spacious open-plan unit, with designated areas specified for a wide range of activities in which children can initiate their own choice and/or be guided by staff who extend their skills, knowledge and understanding, based on regular observations of the progress of each individual child.

Through the range of purposeful play and challenging activities, our children are introduced to the full array of curriculum areas, in order to develop skills and understanding within a broad and balanced framework.

Each child is encouraged to reach his/her own potential, whilst developing the ability to work and play cooperatively with others. This is conducted within the framework of the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Amazing Grace Nursery complies to an Equal Opportunities policy (details available on request). The Nursery also responds to Special Educational Needs, having regard to the Code of Practice.

We consistently liaise with parents and encourage an active partnership so that together we can meet the individual needs of each child.

A comprehensive Child Protection Policy ensures the safety of children whilst at nursery. Further details of all nursery policies and practices are available upon request.
